Where Children Go To Grow

Our Programs

Outdoor Classroom
Incorporating outdoor classroom time into weekly schedules for both preschool and school-aged programs has grown in popularity over the past decade. Research shows that spending time in nature helps children become more attentive and focused once they return indoors. The addition of loose, recycled parts to outdoor classrooms supports the development of a key skill: socialization. Many kindergarten teachers have noted a decline in this area over the years. Outdoor environments encourage children to explore, create, and cooperate with one another—activities that naturally build confidence and strengthen social skills. It’s essential that children learn to be both leaders and listeners, while also having the freedom to guide their own learning experiences.
